Generating HCFA PDF Files OnDemand

We have a small issue with HCFA files generating two to three days later, not on-demand when we click HCFA button in billing.    

Gentoo Linux
OpenEMR 2.8.3
MySQL 5.0
PHP 5.0

NOTE: When we installed version 2.8.3 we removed the printer as we no longer print HCFA’s to paper in our office.  Could not having a printer impact process dealing with paper claims?

Solved the problem by rolling back to prior version 2.8.3.  Changes we are developing to billing processing are still unstable.
