**Situation**

The Front Office Receipts Report (`/interface/reports/front_receipts_report.php`) is crashing and failing to generate, though the standard Payments report works perfectly fine. Because of how the SQL query is formatted in the logs (grouping by `r.dtime` and `r.pid` but selecting non-aggregated columns like `p.fname` and `p.lname`), I suspect this is crashing due to an `ONLY_FULL_GROUP_BY` strict mode violation in the database. How can I figure out exactly what is crashing this and if there is user entered data I need to delete for it to function again?

**OpenEMR Version**

I’m using OpenEMR version 8.1.0

**Browser:**

I’m using: Chrome

**Operating System**

I’m using: Debian / Docker (Server)

**Search**

Did you search the forum for similar questions? Yes, searched for “Front Office Receipts Report crash” and “ONLY\_FULL\_GROUP\_BY”.

**Logs**

Did you check the logs? Yes, checked the internal log viewer.

Was there anything pertinent in them? There are no explicit PHP errors logged because the script appears to fatally crash immediately after running the report’s SQL query.

Please paste them here:

Hi @sundog , thanks for the report. Could you try upgrading to OpenEMR v8.4.0?
