Free or cheap claim/bill processing companies

After I produce the print image file for a claim/bill, you can send/upload the file to a web-based service and they will forward the claim/bill to the insurance companies.  However, those services charge you a very high fee.
Are there any free, or very cheap, companies that process and submit the claim/bill?

What I’d do is using a clearinghouse.
Medi-cal and proxymed are known to work fine with the electronic files generated by the system,
Rod recently added UB92 file support too.
So I’ll say that with no effort you can use medical or proxymed, or with a little or no effort, any other clearing house supporting x12 files (almost all)

THIN is free or very cheap too, but their tech support sucks, so getting specs from then is not an easy task.

1.  Which payers receive insurance claims from you?
2.  How are you currenlty submitting claims now to payers?  Paper?  X12?
3.  Are you submitting claims directly to a payer or through a clearing house?
4.  If you are using a clearing house, which clearing house?
5.  What are the monthly or per claim fees that you are currently paying?
6.  How much is a "very high fee?"

I use a web site called FreeClaims.com because they are free.  I generate the print image forms (1500) and upload to them.
So, you might ask, if FreeClaims.com is free, then why look for others?  That’s not important.  I just want to know what’s out there.
There’s another place called Post-N-Track.com which is almost free.
I want to get a collection of all the free or almost free places.  Please help.  Thanks.

Oops!
It’s www.FreeClaims.com not FreeClaims.com.

I was able to find proxymed’s web site, but I’m having trouble finding the web site for medi-cal or medical or what ever the exact name is.  Please kindly provide the URL web address.  Thank you.

Our clinic uses ZirMed.  They are based in Louisville, KY.  They are very professional and knowledgeable.  Their tech support is SUPERB!  It’s worth every cent I spend.  I have two providers in my office and we pay 145.00 a month. They investigate errors and get back to you in a timely manner.  If you need a phone number and a contact person, please let me know…you can e-mail me at ksears@jonesmd.com.  Hope this helps.

Are there list of clinics or billing companies in US who use OpenEMR for their office?

I would like to hear some billing companies who use it as Billing software, not EMR.

Not a registry, but 700+ downloads per month.
there’s one billing company I know of, which deploys OpenEMR at their client’s place as a courtesy.
