This is work that started with code Julie L, wrote for me but was too mixed in with other changes. It’s cool, but it needs some review and possible tweaks to make it even better

I modified the original to have a global config option to turn off message/reminder alerts from folks that don’t need that (at the user level) and I added including Allergies with Reactions as an example of alternate uses
