Has anyone else ever noticed, when using the dispatch function in Fax/Scan, when you select from the list of document categories to store the file, only the sub-categories are available? That is, if there are any sub-categories underneath a main category, you can’t dispatch the document to the main parent category, only to the ones underneath it, the parent category does not even appear in the list of potential destinations.
Was this done for some specific reason, or is it just a bug in the dispatcher that’s never been addressed?
I wondered if that might be the case. This is something we leave up to the practice to decide, but the behavior of the dispatch utility makes it tricky. Every practice has their own individual workflow & preference for storing things.
