I have a different problem with the ERA posting. We are getting an error that says.

Unknown or unexpected segment ID
GSWarning: Set  was already uploaded but not yet processed

I clicked “OK” and got this message:

You cannot access this page directly.

We have had this problem before and it went away on its own.
I have done some digging this time. We are having this issue with two carriers. One is AEtna and the other is Optima. I see that the error blurb comes from the parse_era.inc.php file. I was checking out the file and the GS is the first line in the file. One file is delimited with * and the other with pipes.

Does this make a difference what the file is delimited with?

I asked the billing person to send me a file that does post so that I can compare.

I have tried deleting the first line to see if the problem is in the first line and it is not. I have deleted line after line  in the file and the error message just spitting out the next line as the fault line.

Second quesion is can the file have been already posted and what numbers tell me that?
Here are the first few lines of the ERA file.
