We have sent email notifications and have been successful with patient portal credentails too using Linux…

Please ensure the settings made with the smtp configurations are right in processing the email reminders.

Have attached the screenshot of setting we used to configure smtp.

Unfortunately, it is still not working on my side.
What are you using on the backend and what version of openemr are you doing this on?
I believe I am using 4.2.1

We are using OpenEMR version 4.2.1 and 4.2.2.

Backend we use Linux (Centos 6.x and Ubuntu)

If your using Centos in your end, please check if ‘selinux’ is enabled and if its blocking the emails thorugh apache.

I meant any mail based applications - thunderbird etc.
SELinux is disabled. Still not working, is there anything other configuration I should be aware of?

hi I want to use email notification in open emr with gmail on emr version 6.0.1 and ubuntu server.please help
