On the Week view hours (left side of calendar) are clickable but not so on the day view. This is in the "Outlook" view.
Thanks

hey,
This now works well in the cvs demo (3.2.x). If you want this in 3.1.0 make a ‘feature request’ in the tracker and assign it to me in order to remind me when I have some free time to migrate this change to 3.1.0 (will then include in the next 3.1.0 patch).
Should be easy, I just need to commit this patch (you could also use this for your code to get it working right away):
http://openemr.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/openemr/openemr/interface/main/calendar/modules/PostCalendar/pntemplates/default/views/day/ajax_template.html?r1=1.19&r2=1.20&view=patch

hey,
Just did this. The fix is now also in the cvs 3.1.0.1 branch, and will be included in the next 3.1.0 patch (releasing the patches in the ‘patches’ tracker).
i think two other changes would make the outlook calendar even mroe intuitive for clicking to insert new appt.
1) In day view, allow highlighting of a provider column (when have multiple providers). Then when click on the time slot, default to this provider in new appt popup.
2) In week view, allow highlighting of a day. Then when click on the time slot, default to this day in new appt popup. Could also place an icon near the day to continue to include functionality of zooming in on the day, if click on it.
If these sound good, I’ll put these into the feature request. If we get lucky Jason may then take this over.

Hi Brady,
I’m finally clawing my way back. Life has been turned upside down and I’ve been out of the OpenEMR loop for a while. I’d be happy to take on the calendar related improvements. I’ll check out the tracker to see what is there at this moment.

Guys;
Please if you are making calendar changes, check my bug tracker today - (I still use the fancy format, so not certain the problem status in Outlook view, but I’d guess the same) - setting an "IN Office" for before the start hour from Globals.php causes all demographics links for that day to lockup.
