Probably possible, but not easy. Administration and inventory can be hidden. Administration depends on ACL, Inventory is enabled/disabled in globals>features.
Maybe one of the gurus has a way out. Have asked about it before and I even entered it into the tracker. My thinking was that to simplify and unclatter the UI, only links that are authorized for the specific user should be visible to him.
But for this to work well, ACL may need to be revised to offer finer control. I have seen some vendors have a check-box system for each of the navigation items which are checked/unchecked for each user or user group to control access/visibility. Maybe this can be something to think about as we embark on a new release cycle.

I see a ACOG menu in the contrib/acog folder and several associated forms in the contrib/forms. I have no problem installing the individual forms via administration/other/forms, but don’t know where to put this acog folder and where the menu will eventually show up. Could someone please advise?
