The OpenEMR demos server is moving this week (I am moving about a mile). It will go down tomorrow evening and will hopefully be back up the next evening (assuming comcast transfer works out; there’s a good possibility it will go down longer since these things never go smoothly). Note it only will involve the demo servers; the open-emr.org site will stay up since this is hosted on sourceforge. One thing for developers that will go down is the git mirroring (the server mirrors sourceforge git repo to other repos, such as github); this shouldn’t be a big issue for a couple days, though.
just logged in to main demo, seems snappier than ever, well done brady
kind of cool for your guest to go to sleep to the gentle whirring of THE OpenEMR demo server, can picture the guest sliding the door open and staring in awe
Regarding daily/weekly/2109 development build demos, restarted them and working fine now. Guessing that trying to start all the demos at once (they are spaced by only about 1 minute or so when the server starts up) causes issues sometimes.
If I had a OpenEMR sticker, I’d gladly stick it on
If only it were just a gentle whirring rather than a loud roar. In the distant past when I did used to keep it in the guestroom closet, I had to shut it down at night so the guests could get to sleep
Stephen, you write openemr.org and on your sticker it shows open-emr.org (These are two different representatives of the same software)
Nice sticker, great creation for users who know “Open EMR”!
For outsiders, it is not clear that this sticker represents a great piece of Medical Software, even on a server it should be clear it is a Medical Software Server, HIPAA compliant.
Add a stethoscope/Caduceus-“freeware sign”. (Or add a picture of the founder of Digital Medical World: Hippocrates in the background… or both)
thanks Pieter, just figured that we’d use the existing logo and that oemr.org might want to receive/distribute for those that donate for our mutual benefit
Looks awesome to me. I’d definitely stick that on my server
At this point Tony is only one doing booths I think, so giving to oemr sounds like a good idea, if they want them.
