Deleting Issues

Again newbie question but have not been able to figure out the answer.  I mistakenly added a medication as a problem in the "Add Issues" screen.  I have not been able to find out how two delete the entry.
The best I have been able todo is change the title to a space and then get a line that says "Missing Title". Is there a way to delete the entry?

Joaquin,

I believe the issue is linked to the encounter in the database table: issue_encounter

I don’t think you can delete the issue from the encounter any other way than by going into the database itself, carefully finding the table row, and deleting that single row. You’ll need to cross-reference encounter IDs with Issue IDs. Messy business.

You can simply change "problem"  to "medication" by chnaging the radio button at the top to "medication" then resaving.

You can out a discontinuation date.

You can reuse the "space" by putting some thing on the line and then if needed change the radio button at the top to "Allergy", "Medication", or "Surgery" then resave.

I believe if you make the patient active and select the issue radio button on the left side where you have the admin, the calender, the encounters…  the issues will come up and you will be able to delete it.
