Delete demo data

We would like to delete the demo data from our production instance once the install is complete. Is there a script that can delete all the demo data from the OpenEMR instance.

Thanks
Vinay

If “demo data” means the fictitious data seen in the 2107 Demo, then no script is needed.

Any download will be devoid of patient or practice data.

The fictitious data had been supplied as a courtesy and convenience for the potential user, saving him the effort of creating the same to adequately evaluate OpenEMR.

Best thing to do, is make a fresh install and copy all changed files (php, html, etc) during the initial setup. Also delete and reinstall MySQL.

Or make a backup, change the irrelevant information in the Backup file and install the backup. (I think this might do the trick, but am not sure if this will also delete ALL info irrelevant for a new install)

As an alternative there is export and import with CSV files, be sure when manually import names of the users through CSV-file import not delete and to import the line of the Admin user! if this happens you can’t Login in the OpenEMR at all. (This is is of no importance when you do a fresh install without any names and other info.
