I have installed openemr 4.1.1 on debian squeeze/php 5.48 (installed from source). I had to clean up some of the code. Would you like me to upload it.

Did you use any sort of version control when making your changes?
We’re always glad to have user contribution, but normally, we prefer developers to use the procedures outlined at http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_Document_Your_Code_Properly to submit code.
What sort of issues did you have? i run openemr on squeeze myself, and haven’t had any issues.

Yes, I wanted to ask you as to what is the procedure for promoting the code. So, you answered it.
Pretty much, no checking for unset _POST variable which prevented installation from completing.
