Data won't load on main patient page in internet explorer8 or prior

Hi, checking to see if anyone else has had this issue. The data on the main patient page on the right sidebar (e.g., Clinical Reminders, Appointments, Medical Problems, Allergies, Current Medications, etc) will not load IF NewCrop integration is turned on and IF one is using InternetExplorer version 8 or prior. (Some customers refuse to upgrade browsers because of ties to other software.) Anyone have any insight or settings to try?

As a general rule, Firefox makes for a far superior end user experience with OpenEMR.
Google Chrome usually works reasonable well too.
If installing FF or Chrome is not an option for the PCs in question, that could be a problem.
What version of OpenEMR is this?
