Customize search results page

I remember seeing an option to customize which fields show up in search results.
But after searching for one hour, today for the life of me, I cant find it.

I would be highly obliged if someone could guide me.

Where/what are you searching?

Please be a bit more specific.

Or try on the opening screen left side all the way down, for search on Patient info.

I just want to customize which fields are shown in the search results field… Specifically, I have customized the demographics layout (Age instead of DOB and a new field called “Surname”). I want to Age and Surname to show up in the search results page.

Thanks in anticipation

Have a look in openemr/interface/main/finder/patient_select.php.

If the frame is opened in a second tab, path will be in browser address bar.

Instead of customizing, try using the “Patient View” configuration to include whatever field you want. We can add the columns as we need in the “Administration->Lists->Patient List Columns” list. The fields configured in this list will be seen Under “Patient/Client -> Patients” screen.

Note:
In “ID” field - Need to include the database field name
In “Title” field - Need to include the label to be displayed for the column
