Good Morning,

As I’m not working with OpenEMR anymore, I’ll appreciate if you remove my
address from the messaging group.

Thanks,

Just a call asking about this.

The NUCC approved the following transition timeline at its in-person meeting in Chicago on August 1, 2013.

January 6, 2014: Payers begin receiving and processing paper claims submitted on the revised 1500 Claim Form (version 02/12).
January 6 through March 31, 2014: Dual use period during which payers continue to receive and process paper claims submitted on the old 1500 Claim Form (version 08/05).
April 1, 2014: Payers receive and process paper claims submitted only on the revised 1500 Claim Form (version 02/12).

Will it be in the next patch 4.1.2(5) or in 4.1.3?

Thanks

bradymiller wrote on Thursday, February 20, 2014:

Hi Kevin,

Do you think I can bring this into 4.1.2(5) patch without issues. Also, wasn’t there a follow up commit or two that fixed some things?

thanks,

One follow up commit for compatibility with php 5.3.

Yes, I think it should be fairly simple to incorporate into a 4.1.2 patch.

bradymiller wrote on Sunday, February 23, 2014:

Cool,

Both of those commits are both in the queue for the next patch (hopefully will have some time over the next week to get the patch out). Looks like there is a calendar fix coming in soon, so will wait for that if possible.

Thanks Kevin. Just started using OpenEMR in my small acupuncture/oriental medicine practice. Was worried about the new format, but you already solved it!

Thanks again.

Can someone tell me how to print the CMS 1500 2/12 format?

At present, is prints the old format only. My patch is up to date with patch 5.

We figured it out with Rod’s help. Thank you Rod.

Go to Administration -> Globals -> Features -> Bottom three choices set up proper format.

Thanks again.

Jeff
