It was suggested that I post this on the users pages too… so …

I have started a crowd funding pledge process for the e-sign class. Take a look and make a pledge. This has been asked for many, many times. Will community support this project?

Details on the open-emr.org wiki at: http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Active_Projects#Ability_to_Sign_Notes

We are currently 45% funded with 31 days left in the pledge drive.

Good News a few more folks stepped up and the Pledge goal was reached! Thanks, so much for your support. We’ll start do the work right away and posting interim code as we go.

Will the e-sign feature be available in LBF forms? Can it be added to LBF so that patient’s can e-sign on the tablet when they fill in the forms?
We would gladly pay for that feature.

That is possible, I think using a LBF plugin would work, will need to
research that. The class library at it’s most basic provides a way to sign
anything, any record in any table.
