I contacted the AMA to purchase a new set of CPT’s for the coming year.
The AMA has changed it’s process for purchasing the codes. The codes can no longer be purchased. They now require a license agreement. There is an application process now. In the application process they ask how many users will be accessing the data.
They are very specific about who is a user and do include language that target medical records developers. I have sent in the application today to see if I can get the project accepted. There is a fee upon being accepted.
I will update this thread when I hear back from the AMA.
