Situation
I’ve just spent most of the entire day installing and getting OpenEMR up and running, thank you Gemini! Safe to say I am not a coder at all, the setup was daunting for me.
I’m starting out as a Counsellor in a month or so and would like a system where I can keep track of clients, their issues, the treatments I’ve tried, notes for each appointment, treatment plan, intake form details etc… I’ve had a search on this forum and have not been able to find one, does anyone know if there is something available? I am guessing creating my own will be way beyond my ability, and I could not find a way to even try to customise layouts in the OpenEMR menus.

After about 18 hours of struggling with installation and getting the basics working Apache, mySQL etc, I still have problems with errors and permissions etc and have decided it is way too much trouble to be worth the savings, so I will opt for a subscription service as I don’t think there is anything free, simple and elegant that doesn’t require intense messing about with code etc.
