CMS portal with patients who are already registered in openemr

I have been using the CMS portal now for about a month and it is working wonderful for new patients but I would like to link the portal to existing patients without having them do the demographic form again. Where would I find the field for the WP_id in openemr? Can I just plug that into the database directly?

The long way–
Table: patient_data
Field: cmsportal_login
Enter the email address used to log into wordpress

The Easy Way–
Otherwise found in the Demographics section under choices tab.
