CMS Portal - Send to Portal

Hi,

We have a fresh install of OpenEMR 4.2 and are using the CMS Portal. We have managed to link and send forms from Wordpress to OpenEMR via CMS Portal, register patients and uploaded docs etc. However, when we use the “Send to Portal” for a document, it appears in the CMS Portal page, but when we select the document in CMS Portal then press “Submit and Delete Request” it first says “fetching from portal”, but nothing happens, then when you re-select press “Submit and Delete Request” again, it says “fetching from portal” then the document disappears.

Can someone clarify what is the process for “Send to Portal” and where can the patient retrieve the document.

Many thanks

When you use “Send to Portal” in the Patient Report, it writes a message with the PDF report attached to the Cartpauj PM table for that purpose in the WordPress database. The patient should be able to view their messages and see it. You might be experiencing some confusion if that patient is also the portal administrator, not sure offhand.

Hi Rod.

You were correct - in admin from wordpress it does cause issues, but a normal user works.

We have success with the sample forms but are wondering if it is possible:

  1. To create a form (LBF) or other form that will allow the patient to submit vitals / encounters / vist forms, as we have patients that submit vitals.
  2. To receive messages without manually transfering them from the CMS protal.

Many thanks

Hi Rod,

We created a LBF Visit called DayNursing wit three fields Pt_Temp, Pt_Systolic, Pt_Diastolic.

We then created a Ninja form called LBFDayNursing with Text Descriptions <!- Pt_Temp ->, <!- Pt_Systolic -> <!- Pt_Diastolic ->…

We completed and submitted the form.

The form appeared in the CMS Portal with Request Type LBFDayNursing.

When I select the Date/Time link it lists the three fields and their values, with buttons to “Open Patient” and “Back”.

When we open patient the patient record appears but I do not see how the form gets into the patients record.

When I complete the form manually in OpenEMR during a patient encounter it works fine.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Kind regards
