Hii…
i am having issue in my CMS portal. I updated the wordpress site and everything was fine. But for the last couple of days, on clicking the CMS Portal Button in the openemr left navigation menu, I am getting this error in the popup window that appears -

curl_exec failed: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate

what it is about? I have my curl extension enabled in php.ini file

I am on xampp 1.8.2

The PHP cURL extension, used for communicating with the portal, does not like self signed certificates. Suggest you get a commercial RapidSSL certificate from namecheap.com for $10 or so. Your patients will also appreciate not having to deal with browser warnings.

ok…will get it for sure…but is there any method to bypass it for now?

You could use http for openemr access to the portal. It wouldn’t be encrypted.

I’d love to see your site after you have it polished up.

And for anyone willing, it would be very cool to build a list of sites using the WordPress portal. I’m sure there will be a lot of creativity happening.
