The CMS 1500 forms were printing fine before the upgrade to version 4.0 from version 3.0.
When we print CMS 1500 claim form for patient (DOS 5/9/11) we get this error message:
" Data item at (32, 2) precedes current column."
It only happens on secondary claims. It happens with all patients.
Where do we look to fix this error?

This claim form for Mr. Freeman printed…it’s a primary claim, so it looks OK. I printed some secondaries & the amounts in block 29 & block 30 are incorrect. I’ve attached examples. Look at claim for CAMERON MANUEL….DOS 3/30…TOTAL CHARGE $680. BLOCK 29 lists a negative balance AND BLOCK 30 THE BALANCE DUE should be $49.46……I have no idea where the figures that printed out came from?
Can anyone guide me on where I should be looking?
