they’ve been broken out into their specific lists

under lists choose medical problem issue list or allergy issue list etc

Thank you Stephen.

Hi Stephen,

Those additional lists were not pre-loaded with 4.1.2 because they don’t appear in Administration/Lists nor in the list_options table. It’s easy enough to add the lists but the problem is that they won’t appear in Issues. Tinkering about in Lists/Issue Types does not seem to help. A step is missing.

Fortunately, AutoComplete works well, especially for medications because the original medication list was too abbreviated and there were no dosages nor frequency of dose.

Hi fsgl, i just went to the demo, OK opthalmic, must be your handiwork?

it seems the medical problem is not working, your meddling?, but i confirmed that the medication issue list is behaving with the item TEST

Yup, Henry VIII and his six wives were seen today in the OK Office.

When I installed 4.1.2, the Issue Lists were not part of the package and I guess that Burt has the same problem.

The 4.1.2 Demo is not a replica of the copy on our local machines. This problem and the different behavior of phpMyAdmin are two examples.

I replicated the problem by deleting the Medical Problems Issue List in the Demo. Adding that list back did not restore the drop down menu. Nothing worked in Issue Type either. The other Issue Lists were not deleted and that’s why they are working.

I haven’t figured out what is needed to restore a deleted Issue List. Probably something rather trivial, but it’s a mystery to me for now. Lists for LBV forms can be deleted and restored at will. Issues seems to be a different animal. Will experiment some more tomorrow.

i restored the functionality of the medical problem list on the OK opthalmic demo

i think when you recreated the table you used upper case and the script needs lower case

The Medication Issue List has capitalizations for the first letter.

Why does it work?

cmswest wrote on Wednesday, January 08, 2014:

bad guess, i don’t know why you were unable to recreate a deleted list but if you want to give it another shot on the demo i’ll take a look

The 4.1.2 Demo reset a hour ago.

I deleted the Medical Problem Issue List and added it back verbatim, which worked on the Demo but not on the local machine.

I prefer AutoComplete and don’t use the drop down menu. Please don’t expend any more time on the matter. If Burt continues to have a problem, I’m sure that he would give a shout.
