Hello,

I Recently Installed Openemr in Ubuntu Server where the Folder of Openemr is under /var/www but I want to change that Folder Name from openemr to any other name,As soon as I change I cannot access.
Is there a way where we can change the Name of the Folder.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Pavithra,

Greetings from ViSolve!

Could you please check your apache config file for your virtual host settings.

If your virtual host points to /var/www/ at port 80, you can access your instance by giving this in the URL: localhost/.

Incase, your virtual host points to /var/www/openemr, then you must change the location to /var/www/.

Please let us know if this works.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the Reply…
Yes the Virtual Host is Pointing to /var/www.
But if I access URL: localhost/mine
Then I get this error.
“The requested URL /mine was not found on this server.”

What is the port number to which the VirtualHost is pointing? If its other than 80, ensure port mentioned in VirutalHost is listening and included in ports.conf file.

Thanks

It’s not the virtual host name that is needed, it’s the document root.

Assuming all openemr stuff is in path /var/www/ is mapped as http://somewebhost/ and emr software is subdirectory anotherdir , what do you get for following urls?

  1. http://somewebhost/
  2. http://somewebhost/anotherdir/interface/login/login_frame.php
