Here in the Middle East our first work day is Saturday and Thursday is the our last work day. Friday is off.
Where can I change this in OpenEMR. I looked in globals, but did not see anything.
Any clues, hints, advice etc all welcome.

I wanted to ask you about something along the same line. I understand that Arabic has to be written from right to left. I used to work in Saudi and Dubai for 7 years and while there, when we developed applications, we not only had to consider that the language is written from right to left but also the screen alignment has to change from right to left i.e mirror it.
OpenEMR has the ability to translate to Arabic but not mirror the screen. Is that going to affect the popularity of OpenEMR in the middle east? Or does everyone use English for medical purposes?
I guess this goes for Hebrew too.

Most everybody is using English, so I do not think that it will make that big a difference.
Of course, if you can offer something in Arabic as well, that is always a PLUS Point.
