I still can’t solve the problem in order to print out 1500 form by generating the 1500 text or 1500 pdf file.
OpemEMR jumps to a screen with the error message:
Data item at (32, 16) precedes current column.
Please help!

Yes, it worked!
The only problem is at the item #1. OpenEMR automatically check the last option “OTHER (ID#)” box in the HCFA 1500 form. Did I do something to generate the result like that? The 3rd box from the right “GROUP HEALTH PLAN (ID#)” is the one we want to have. What do I need to do in order to have that box checked?

for item #1 under admin->practice->insurance cos. choose the correct payer type and then it will populate the correct box
I originally chose “commercial healthcare company” and it did not work. It ends up I had to chose “blue cross and blue shield” to make it. But that insurance does not belong to BCBS system.
Anyway… the right box was checked eventually.
