Just a query…can BatchCom be used to send birthday reminders to the patients?

Batchcom can send the mails for patients based on the criteria specified in the Batchcom section. Currently there are no filters available to select the patients based on their DOB to support birthday reminders. So we need to add the search filter for DOB by customizing code in the file ‘interface/batchcom/batchcom.php’.

Frankly, the batchcom.php is badly broken and very hard to manage. The
developer tried to be too cool in the code. This program needs to be
rewritten completely. I hacked it down to just do appointments for one
customer to make it simple an reliable, but that’s just a hack.
