Cache locations for list items?

My front office staff asked me to re-order the “Appointment Statuses” list to move some of our more commonly used items to the top of the list.

I successfully re-ordered the list and saved it, and it does show up correctly in the new order when I reopen it for editing, but when we actually use it on the calendar page, it still shows up in the original order.
I’ve cleared the cache on the client Firefox browser without help.

Is there some other place where the list might be cached?

Hi @Wizard353 ,

What is your setting in Administration->Globals->Appearance->How to sort a drop-lists ?

Thanks,

Brady,
Thanks for getting back to me.

I do have the global field sort setting applied for alphabetical order, which makes sense for our “listbox with add” field for patient occupations. With about 300 occupation descriptions recorded, it reduces the chance of creating duplicates.

It’s too bad that we can’t apply the sort order option on a field-by-field basis, as a property for each list when defined, as opposed to one global setting for all lists.
