Open Source Medical Software is the  not-for-profit organization that provides guidance and support for the OpenEMR project.  The current board of Directors terms have expired for the following positions:

Vice President:  James Perry, Jr.
Secretary: Rod Roark
Treasurer:  Andres Paglayan
Members at large:
Mark Leeds, DO
Michiel Bosman, MD
David Herman, CPA

At the OpenEMR-CCHIT teleconference on 8-14-2009 the following individuals were nominated to the Board of Directors of Open Source Medical Software:

Vice President - Rod Roark – SunsetSystems.com
Secretary - Tony McCormick - MI-Squared.com
Treasurer - David Herman, CPA

Members at large:

Michael Brody – CMEOnline.com
Chris Lucena - EHRLive
John Williams -  Garden State Health Systems LLC
Sena Pelanasami – Visolve.com
Jason Morrill - Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut

Qualifications ot be on the board of Open Source Medical Software include:

1) Interest in supporting Open Source Medical Software in general
2) A desire to actively participate in the growth of the OpenEMR project.

The next teleconference and Board meeting will be at 1 PM EDT on Friday 8-28-2009.
