# Blank page from login

Hello everyone,

I have finished installing Open EMR 5.0.0 and was able to go past log in but I keep getting a blank page after that.

I’m using Google Chrome, Windows 10 32-bit, XAMPP for Apache and MySQL.

I didn’t do anything except change the password for MySQL (Experienced denied access but was able to reset the password).

Can someone please guide me as to what to do next?

P.S.  
Upon login, there is this message.  
**Notice** : Undefined index: language\_direction in **C:\xampp\htdocs\openemr\src\Core\Header.php** on line **149**

But I have no trouble logging in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @Kenichii,

Please disabled the notices from php.ini file and restart the server then it will not going to display.

Thank you Nilesh. I did try to put the advised php.ini file and it worked.

By the way, do you have any idea why it runs so slow? Like very slow.  
I try to put a new patient but it has been some time since I clicked create new patient and nothing happens. Do you have any suggestions how to fix it?

Hi @Kenichii,

That might be issue with configuration of your system, that should not be OpenEMR issue.
