I need to use a software product like OpenEMR but I mainly need it to handling billing. I have a client that has setup a medical billing practice and they want to have practices/medical facilities go to their site and setup an account for billing. Each practice would have an account then each practice would notify their customers via billing statements and mailings what the url is. These patients will create an account as well but that new account somehow has to be tied into the practices’ account. Then the patient pays the bill and the practice gets notified about it. Now what else would be nice is that every practice clears through the same merchant account. There is a service my client signed up for where they can process the credit card payments so all practices will have to go through the same service. I am not sure how the monies for each practice will get routed to the account for each practice. Any thoughts? I did find out that my client will use www.saleslink.com (RBS) for processing.
