I notice that there are some errors in the edi 270 batch eligibility file generated. Specifically, while the list of patients show a variety of insurance carriers, the edi 270 text file only shows the insurance carrier of the first patient - the rest have no insurance carriers shown. The x12 partner is zirmed. I got the same results when I created a random test x12 partner.
The Insurance Eligibility tab in the Patient Summary is non-functional, despite the fact there are 2 tables for eligibility.
The only file that is integrated with OpenEMR is the 835P (ERA).
When we download 999 & 277 files from our local Blue Shield, they are data rather than text files. We have to borrow a piece of software from Medicare to be able to read them.
Office Ally provides 999 files & Eligibility Requests in text format within their website, therefore Zirmed should be able to do the same. Would suggest a phone call to Zirmed Support.
