Backup of openemr at multiple sites to a cloud openemr

Hi All
is it possible to backup multiple instances of openemr from different locations to a single cloud instance of openemr?
i know you can backup a single instance with built in tools, however not sure if we can achieve this for multiple sites backed up to a openemr in the cloud.

I would take a datadump of each database and store them on Amazon S3 or something similar. Is that what you are talking about?

Data dump would not help me with the architecture i am considering.
I would like the instance in the cloud to be fully functional as well for central reporting, mgmt, etc
I found you can do multi site installation. Do you know how the data replicates between the sites if i deploy the multisite architect?
