Apache\logs\access file

Since upgrading from Version 4.2.2 to the current version 5.0.1, I’ve noticed the apache\logs\access file increases in size very fast and uses up all the hard drive server memory. I have to delete the access file weekly to avoid the server from freezing. Can someone has any idea what is going on and how to solve this issue?

I’m using the Windows XAMPP package installed in Windows 7 Pro.

Can do modifications through rotation of log files.For windows you can refer the following link
