Another Little Improvement

My wife (& client) just had a problem whose fix is not really spelled out in the instruction, but probably should be.  It is not intuitive what to do when a patient’s insurances change, or in her case when a patient moved from one practice to another.  She was creating a new patient, which is not the best approach for a number of reasons, not least the loss of linkage to prior treatment knowledge.

Both cases are addressed the same way - note that the patient Demographics includes the current insurance at the bottom.  If the insurance changes, or if the practice location changes, you should enter a new effective date of that date in the Insurance fields.  Doing so will create a new insurance listing showing that date, with the previous insurance (even if it is the same) showing the earlier "from" date to that newly entered date, plus show the insurance from the date you just entered to current.

I will prepare a screenshot addendum in the hope it, and the Fee Sheet (currently shown as "Fee Sheet Configuration" which is only partially correct), will be rolled into Rod Roark’s instruction manual and/or its PDF equivalent, for linkage with the "Instructoins" buttons.

I have copied this in both "Developers" and "Users" forums.
