Addition proposal

The users like the framed interface, it makes moving around openemr faster and can have any possible combination in the right two frames. However, its easy to lose track of who that patient is.

The patient name, id, encounter is listed in the bottom of the left nav frame.
On a smaller laptop screen you can’t see this without scrolling.

Before the patient name, age, phone number? was in the very top frame. Which they liked having.

I would like to propose that for discussion.

I have noticed this also (since indeed I use a small screened laptop when I am looking at the demo).  This interface is confusing for non-experienced users and there have comments posted on the demo to this effect.

I was hoping that the feature could toggled on or off per user preferance instead of system wide.  This has already been requested by users of the online demo.

This is a good idea.  The new interface is not effective until after login, so it should be easy to add a parameter for it in the users table (and correspondingly in the admin area for users).
