A few questions about interface changes?

  1. OpenEMR does not have an interface to change the word to patient to client. But this can be changed from the openemr code through customization.

  2. If my understanding is right, your asking about the menu that is available at the left of OpenEMR. This could be hidden using the ‘Hide Menu’ and can be made to shown up again using ‘Show Menu’ available at the top of the screen [Screenshot attached for reference]. Let us know if this helps or if your looking anything different.

Small correction - every phrase on emr screen goes through a translation filter. Use menu path :
Administration - Other - Language - Edit Definitions or Add Constant
to search and replace/create your own display.

To be clear, emr translations do not handle parts of string and plural forms of the word automatically. So you may have to define translations for several forms of the same word.
