5.0.1 to 5.0.2 Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Upgrade Question

Very basic question

Trying to follow instructions on wiki for 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 upgrade.
mv openemr_bk/sites/default/documents openemr/sites/default/

But I’m getting the following ;

“mv: cannot move ‘openemr_bk/sites/default/documents openemr/sites/default/documents’ : Directory not empty”

Does the file “documents” file in 5.0.2 need to be deleted first?

Thank you,

Henry

hi @hamd, no it needs a different command, will get back to you on it

Hi Stephen,

From the Wiki it seems that the 5.0.1 files are used to replace the 5.0.2 files. If that’s is correct then the 5.0.2 file needs to be removed, but I would expect the Wiki to be clearer about this, instead it’s inferred. Thus my confusion. Brady says this method can be used to update Ubuntu 18.04 LTS 5.0.1 to 5.0.2.

Thank you,

Henry

documents is a directory that contains other directories, the command should be fine tuned to only bring back in the directories that contain patient information

chatted with @brady.miller and he is helping update the guide

I see the Wiki has been already changed.

Thanks to both of you,
