Hello,
I’ve setup OpenEMR on a cloud VPS following the instructions on
http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_4.1.1_Ubuntu-Debian_Package_Installation#Command_line_Ubuntu_Installation
I’ve also successfully installed LAMP server and it works well (gives the Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page).
However, when I go to http://myipnumber /openemr it gives a 404 not found page.
Would really appreciate some help on this, pls.
Regards.

Because the Ubuntu Debian Package has Apache & MySQL, it is not necessary to install the LAMP stack on top of the package .
Try uninstalling the LAMP stack & refer to your other thread.

What is the directory structure inside your web root? Checked permissions as well? Did you do any of that “Securing OpenEMR” stuff (which can cause issues until you are totally sure you are up and running…and never want to upgrade).
