3 Newbie Questions: timeout, calendar,fee bun

I am currently running a cash only clinic using OpenEMR for all office management and records issues.
While workingwith this for a few months I have 3 questions that I cannot find some simple answers to. Please be advised I know very, very little php programming but am not a afraid to edit files if I have specific instructions.
1. How can I increase the timeout interval as we often have difficulty with this as we lose notes that are not saved when it times out.

2.Has anyone come up with a way to export the schedule in a form (vcal etc…) so that I can import the appointments into my personal management software and thus synch with my palm?

3. Is it possible to bundle a number of labs under a single name in the Fee Sheet or Superbill form so that they all are put in but yet break out individually in the billing pane in the lower right so that they can be associated with the proper ICD-9 code ?

Thanks for the help. Hopefully I can learn some php and actually contribute to this great project.

around line 94 reads:
    $timeout = 3600;

which gives you 3.6k seconds = 1 hour.

…but, some systems have problems with what is called the "garbage colector" and may erase session info from the default folder,
solutions for this are:
messing with the gargbage colector, (usally in cron uner root) or changing where the sessions get saved, (in php.ini file)
